Indus AI Week - GB Regional Series
GBSHA organized the Gilgit-Baltistan series of Indus AI Week, a Government of Pakistan initiative,
with AI hackathons, school sessions, and women-in-tech programs in Gilgit and Skardu.
Partners included AKRSP, SCO, Aga Khan Foundation, Accelerate Prosperity, and KIU.

174 students from diverse academic backgrounds joined GBSHA's "AI for Everyone" session at
Karakoram International University, covering ethical AI use, real-world applications, and career paths.

AI Hackathon - Gilgit-Baltistan
Students, developers, and freelancers built AI solutions for governance, climate, health,
education, smart tourism, agriculture, and social impact. Build Day 14 February, Pitch Day 15 February
at PDCN Gilgit, with a Skardu track.

HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup Gilgit
GBSHA served as Outreach Partner for the first HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup in Gilgit, bringing
national tech leaders, policymakers, and GB companies together. Chairman GBSHA welcomed
guests, and P@SHA launched the GB IT & ITeS Sector Diagnostic Report.

GBSHA x SCO Meeting on Connectivity
GBSHA CEC met the Sector Commander of SCO at HQ SCO on internet outages, electricity,
and remote-area infrastructure. Both sides agreed to form a dedicated SCO IT support team
and a joint industry-government working group.

Design Thinking Workshop at Startup Summit GB
As Component Partner of Accelerate Prosperity's Startup Summit, GBSHA hosted
"Design Thinking in Building Resilient Businesses" with Nadeem A. Malik.
More than 50 entrepreneurs took part in a practical sprint on real startup challenges.

GBSHA launched its activities with an open house at Ramada Resort Gilgit.

sustainable IT ecosystem and a roadmap for the region's tech future.
